  • Day 1 ARRIVAL IN EDINBURGH

    Arrive in Edinburgh where your accommodation awaits. Your self-drive or chauffeured car will be ready at the airport. Spend the afternoon exploring the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, and the UNESCO-listed Old and New Towns.

    Rest for the night in Edinburgh.

  • Day 2 ROYAL MILE IN EDINBURGH’S OLD TOWN

    Take a full day to explore Edinburgh’s Old Town, visiting filming locations like Holyroodhouse Palace and the World’s End Pub. Indulge in afternoon tea at the Signet Library, which served as the Governor’s mansion in Jamaica, and consider a day trip to Glasgow to visit Season 3’s locations representing Boston and Harvard.

  • Day 3 THE HISTORIC KINGDOM OF FIFE

    Start your journey with a visit to Hopetoun House, the Duke of Sandringham’s residence in Outlander. Explore Blackness Castle (Fort William) and visit Culross and Falkland, which portrayed 1940s Inverness.

    Rest for the night in St. Andrews.

  • Day 4 HIGHLANDS, CULLODEN AND STANDING STONES

    Explore the Highlands, starting with Dunkeld and Blair Castle. Visit the Highland Folk Museum, used as the Mackenzie village in the series. Continue to Culloden Moor and Clava Cairns, the inspiration for Craigh na Dun.

  • Day 5 LOCH NESS AND URQUHART CASTLE

    Explore Inverness, including Beauly Priory where Claire meets Maisri. Head to Loch Ness to visit the Loch Ness Centre and Urquhart Castle. Alternatively, explore Glen Affric, featured in Season 1 of Outlander.

  • Day 6 THROUGH FAMOUS GLENS AND LOCH LOMOND

    Drive through Trossachs and Loch Lomond before heading to Edinburgh. Visit Glen Coe, the setting for several Outlander scenes. Stop by Doune Castle, which served as Castle Leoch, and consider visiting Stirling Castle or the Kelpies sculptures.
