EXPLANATION OF TERMS
In these Terms and Conditions (T&C), ‘we’ and ‘us’ refer to DreamTripsScotland.com. ‘You’ refers to the person purchasing the vacation, requesting a quote, and agreeing to our T&C. By paying any deposit or fee(s), you agree to these terms on behalf of everyone in your party. For corporate bookings, ‘you’ refers to the company. An ‘event’ refers to all aspects of a booking with DreamTripsScotland. A ‘group’ is defined as 5 or more people per booking.
Booking with DreamTripsScotland
You can make a booking over the phone using a credit card. Doing so constitutes acceptance of our T&C. Each traveler is responsible for reading and understanding these terms. We may update them without notice—check our website for the most current version.
Passage to Your Vacation
DreamTripsScotland is a land-only tour operator and is not responsible for travel into or out of the UK. We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or other disruptions affecting your travel to Scotland.
Your Travel Booking
We correspond only with the booking organizer. You must be 18 or older to book and travel with us. You’re responsible for ensuring all details are accurate and relaying any updates or confirmations to your group. Adequate travel insurance is required for all travelers. Travelers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Changes to bookings will be communicated promptly.
Quotes
All prices are accurate at the time of publication but are subject to change due to availability, local taxes, or other factors. We reserve the right to adjust pricing even after booking (e.g., tax changes) up to 30 days before departure.
Payments (Non-Group 1–5 People)
A 30% deposit confirms a booking. If offered a 20% deposit promotion, the remaining 10% is due within 30 days. Final payment is due 60 days before the vacation start date. A 4% fee applies to final and installment payments. Prices are in GBP and include UK VAT.
Payments (Group 5+ People)
A 30% deposit is required. If offered a 20% deposit deal, the remaining 10% must be paid within 30 days. Group changes after 95 days must be requested in writing. Final payment is due 95 days before your trip. A 4% fee applies to final and installment payments.
Payments (Coach Tours)
A 25% deposit is needed to secure the booking. Group changes within 95 days must be submitted in writing. The balance is due 90 days before arrival. A 4% fee applies to the final and installment payments.
Deposit & Confirmation
Some vacation elements may require full payment upfront (e.g., tickets, special transport). These are non-refundable.
Payment Methods
We accept bank transfers and credit cards (online and by phone). All quoted prices are in GBP. Any conversion from other currencies is approximate. You are responsible for understanding your local bank’s exchange rates and fees.
Special Offers
Our discounts apply only to direct bookings on selected tours and cannot be combined with other offers.
Special Deposit Offers
Low-deposit promotions are non-refundable and must be topped up to the full 30% deposit within 2 months or the booking may be cancelled.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds incur a 10% handling fee.
Non-Group (1–5 People):
Group (5+ People):
Deposits are non-refundable. Extra fees may apply if elements of the tour are non-refundable. You may transfer the booking under specific conditions and written notice.
Changes by Us
We reserve the right to cancel or modify bookings due to safety, weather, or other uncontrollable factors. Refunds are issued only in certain cases. No refunds for delays due to travel disruptions outside our control.
Escorted Tours and Drivers
Escorted tours include a dedicated driver/guide. Tours run 9 hours daily (8 hours plus 1 hour for lunch), typically starting between 9am–10am. Guides may not accompany you into attractions. Drivers adhere to legal safety limits.
Insurance and Participation
All participants must have suitable travel insurance. We are not liable for injuries, delays, or losses from external providers or unforeseen events.

Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate bookings due to disruptive behavior. No refunds will be given.
Accommodation
Only named individuals may use booked accommodation. You are liable for any damage. Room layout is at the discretion of the accommodation provider.
Complaints
Please contact us in writing as soon as possible for resolution. Complaints received later may limit our ability to help.
Privacy Statement
We collect feedback, newsletter registrations, and site usage info. We do not share your personal data with third parties. Please review external site privacy policies when leaving our site.
